Ronald Jonker

Ronald Jonker, born in '74, got in touch with music at a very young age. His 5 older brothers gave him a lot to listen to. Young Ronald started out playing drums and after a while learned to play the bass and discoverd he had found his instrument!!! Almost 20 years after grabbing the bass for the first time, a lot has happened musically. After finishing 1st and 2nd fase at the Conservatory in Groningen and The Hague, Holland, he became a professional sessionmusician and formed the band Madabs (Allard Gosens,git; Marijn Freeve, sax; Marlon Daniel, drs) in 1995. He joined the dutch rockband Chaos! in 1998 and joined the Ana Popovic Band in summer of 2006 after the break-up of Chaos!. So far RJ has played with a number of inspiring people like Lenny Castro, Mike Finnigan, Andrew "Blaze" Thomas, Mick Papadia, Owen Hart, Wietze Koning, Allard Gosens, Jeroen Bos, Marlon Daniel, Marijn Freeve, Rob Ahlers, Bobby Petrov, Ludmil Krumov, Hasan Band, Bob Philipse, Jasper Westerhof, Nick Bult, Remco van der Sluis, Marijn van den Berg.
